About Phoebe: Phoebe Jane Elizabeth Tonkin was born in Sydney, Australia on July 12, 1989. She has been acting from a young age; her first and well-known role was as a mermaid in H20: Just Add Water. Since then, she has gained prominence in not only Australia, but America as well. She portrayed a witch on The Secret Circle, and then went on to appear in The Vampire Diaries as a werewolf, after which she landed a critical role on The Originals, a spin-off of The Vampire Diaries. She is now filming for her upcoming movie, Take Down. Tonkin has also appeared in ad campaigns such as Jan Logan Jewelry and Cotton On.
